went kayaking today after church at newport in the back bay. thought i was going to see some beautiful scenery. turns out back bay means the back alleys of the newport harbor used by million dollar yacht owners to park their toys behind their dockside homes. we had to dodge more than a couple yachts darting at us. and getting caught in their wakes isn't fun cuz you have to fight the kayak from tipping over. anyways, it was a sunny day and we got some good exercise.
