it's funny that i talked about the joy of pain a couple entries ago, cuz i'm in some pain right now. maybe due to my hubris, God has allowed me to welcome pain back into my body. i have the chills, my back aches like crazy, i've lost my appetite, and my forehead feels warm. i had to end work early cuz i felt like crap and needed to use the bathroom every hour. these are the symptoms i get when i get sick, which is really rare. not to mock the soverignty of God, but i really do wonder if God is laughing at me right now. God is commonly called our father, and my own dad laughs at me, why not God. i think i need a reminder now and then of what a great blessing it is to be healthy and free from pain. one of the reasons we need pain is cuz we don't learn. hopefully, this will get me to pray more. gonna cut this short cuz i gotta go drop the kids off for the fourth time today. all i had today was a sandwich, how many kids can i possibly have? let me ammend "the joy of pain" to "the joy from God in spite of pain." thank you lord for your sense of humor...
