here we go... i've messed up my sleeping cycle again. i was doin pretty well for awhile. goin to sleep around 2-3am was fine. thanksgiving hits and the food makes me sleepy so i take a nap, then bam, my cycle is screwed. hmmm... doesn't make sense when you sleep for 4 hours and then take a 3 hour nap. so, it's 4:22am and i'm in a zombie-like state. i wanna go to sleep but i'm not tired. so, i'll just blog till i get tired... how pathetic. in today's tech-laden society, we don't even count sheep anymore, we blog our way to dreamland.
lookin back at some of my recent posts, i realize my life, as of late, has revolved around my faith and my pursuit of firefighting. it's a good thing. no girls, no drama. it's funny. i tell people i go to newsong, and the first reaction is..."dood, you'll be hooked up in no time!" so far, it hasn't happened. yeah, i see a lot of foine girls at church every sunday. but, it's not a place where you can just walk up to a girl and start getting to know her.
(man, i had to delete a bunch of stuff i just wrote. it must be late. i'm in a delirious state and right now would not be the best time for writing about certain things. hehe...)
hmmm...time to talk about some lighter stuff. i watched some movies lately... 007 die another day = crappy movie with cool gadgets you'll never be able to get. harry potter = crappy movie based on fun-to-read book. panic room = crappy movie with crappy characters. hollywood churns out a lot of crap. they were entertaining if you started with low expectations. definite rentals. like peter, i am actually anticipating the second installment of the lord of the rings, the twin towers. it has a plot, suspense, and character development. so many movies today lack a good plot or character development. what annoyed me about harry potter was that he was a cocky lil punk in the movie. in the book, he is unsure about himself, and gradually develops as he learns more of his own past. in the movie, he's a pint sized hero that blurts out that he'll always be there to save the day, literally. i'm glad i won't get this with lotr. crap, i'm agreeing with peter now. it must be late. and 007's plot was legit, but still too reminicent of face-off, maybe cuz john woo is a much better director. i miss talkin about movies with my friends. it's not the same when you write about them on a computer screen by yourself. you just sound like a pretentious dork with too much time on your hands...
if you read up till now, i feel sorry for you. only thing worse than a crappy blog is the person who had to read through it. and for this, i apologize. but, like i said, i only posted this as a way of dealing with my insomnia. hopefully, i can get my act straight by tomorrow...
