having so many non-korean asians in my small group, i have learned to adjust my comments accordingly. instead of, "man, koreans act so stupid sometimes," now it's, "man, asians act so stupid sometimes." haha... basically, i have learned to exchange "koreans" for "asians" to be sensitive to my non-korean counterparts. sometimes, in our conversations, i hear korean, taiwanese, mandarin, cantonese, japanese, etc. all at the same time. maybe God will give one of us the gift of tongues so we can understand what the other is saying. we only have one true japanese speaker, so it'd be nice if i started bustin out in japanese. btw, this japanese friend, a girl, told me that korean guys never go for japanese girls. hmmm...i wonder if this is true. all i know is...in second grade, ryoko was a hottie. woulda asked her to play tetherball with me had i not moved to glendale.
it's nice to have non-korean friends again. haha. i get some good grub when i go over their houses. thanks kat.
